I love where I live, and I also love what I do. I'm lucky to be able to work in a profession in which I get to build relationships; one that has me meeting new people each and every day and helping them to build new lives in my beloved city. I'm lucky enough to work in a profession in which I can marry cutting-edge technologies and marketing techniques to good, old-fashioned, nose-to-the-grindstone work. I am lucky enough to work in a profession that allows me to work as an advocate for my clients; to use every tool at my disposal to get a job done well for them, and with as little stress and expense as possible.
I love my city. I love my job. One inspires my excellence for the other.

I know that the staff and agents at FresYes Realty and the writers at FresYes.com are all really special, and I think it’s time you know that, too. That’s why I like to shine a light on them from time to time, so you can see what I see.
Today I’m focusing on Sarah Soghomonian, who is probably the biggest Fresno State fan you’ll ever meet, as well as a frequent contributor to The Big Fresno Fair’s home arts exhibitions. You can read Sarah’s posts here, and if you’re interested in contacting her with potential story ideas, you can email her at fresyessarah@gmail.com.
Everyone, get to know Sarah.
Grew up in: Fresno’s Old Sunnyside area
Attended school at: Ayer, Kings Canyon, Bullard and Fresno State
Family: I am very close to my parents.
What I like about Fresno: I love that Fresno has the conveniences of a bigger city, but still has a small town feel.
Favorite story I’ve written: I love telling the stories of the Central Valley! It’s hard to pick a favorite, but I get a kick out of the fact that an article I did about the Caruthers Fair (Old-time Fun at Caruthers District Fair) went “viral.”
What FresYes means to me: Family! FresYes is where my family is and my heart.
Favorite Fresno landmark: The old Security Bank Building and Bulldog Stadium.
Favorite place to get a drink in Fresno area: Kuppa Joy is my favorite coffee place.
Favorite Fresno food destination: La Boulangerie
Favorite thing to do on the weekend: Relax, run errands, and have fun with family and friends.
Favorite non-Fresno destination: Santa Cruz, CA
Cake or pie: Cake!
More about me: Bulldog Born, Bulldog Bred! I’m a season ticket holder to Fresno State football, men’s basketball, and baseball.
I have spent the last decade working in both public and commercial television as a producer. I am currently the Production Manager at ValleyPBS.
Writing has always been one of my passions. I got my start in journalism through print media, writing stories for local newspapers and magazines, including The Visalia Times-Delta, Sanger Herald and Madera Tribune. It’s an honor to be able to tell the stories of the Central Valley, a place I love, here on FresYes.com.
