I love where I live, and I also love what I do. I'm lucky to be able to work in a profession in which I get to build relationships; one that has me meeting new people each and every day and helping them to build new lives in my beloved city. I'm lucky enough to work in a profession in which I can marry cutting-edge technologies and marketing techniques to good, old-fashioned, nose-to-the-grindstone work. I am lucky enough to work in a profession that allows me to work as an advocate for my clients; to use every tool at my disposal to get a job done well for them, and with as little stress and expense as possible.
I love my city. I love my job. One inspires my excellence for the other.
Fresno? I say FresYES
Whether you are new to Fresno and looking for a place to live, or you’ve been here your whole life and looking to change things up a bit – there is a neighborhood for you. Fresno is a lovely city with plenty of amazing restaurants, museums, festivals, and people. Like many cities, it is broken up into different neighborhoods that each have their own appeals — depending on what type of neighborhood you are looking for. But at its heart, Fresno (and the people who live there), is an amazing representation of the “great American melting pot” — of what the US is supposed to be.
The Fresno Community
While there are many different neighborhoods within Fresno, a sense of community can be felt no matter where you are. The Fresno community focuses on supporting local businesses, speaking positively about each other, and participating in as much volunteer work as possible. At heart, the Fresno community is generous and always proud to give back.
The Fresno community is a beautiful melting pot of both urban and rural communities as well as many different ethnic heritages. The culturally diverse metropolitan area contains many different neighborhoods as well as museums, shops, restaurants, and festivals throughout the year. With a population of around 800,000, Fresno is home to many strong cultures — such as Indian, Basque, Asian, Armenian, Hmong, Hispanic, Chinese, Japanese, and Portuguese.
Fresno is made up of ten distinct neighborhoods that all have their own individual characteristics. While each of these neighborhoods has tons of unique character, here, we’re just going to provide a brief description of each to get you an idea of what each neighborhood is all about.

This beautiful neighborhood is densely shaded by trees and took decades to develop. The large lots and lush landscaping perfectly complement the combination of the ranch, bungalow, and period revival houses that are found here. This neighborhood is also extremely well known for its Christmas cheer with what residents refer to as “Christmas Tree Lane” where the homeowners decorate their yards with magnificent light displays. Thought of as “the” neighborhood by many to live in, and for many reasons. Here is your list of homes for sale in Fig Garden, Fresno.
Historic Fresno High
With some of the most unique homes in the San Joaquin Valley, this charming neighborhood also houses Fresno High — the oldest high school in the Fresno Metropolitan area. I grew up in this area, moved into Fig Garden then Bullard, now North East. My heart lives here for sure, in the historic Fresno High Area – see why here.
One of the oldest neighborhoods in Fresno, this neighborhood is known for its exciting nightlife with local musicians, garden patio restaurants, and 1930’s style.
