Tremendum Pictures, the local production company that brought you this summer’s horror film “The Gallows” is bringing new life to downtown Fresno with the most haunted attraction in the valley. “TREMENDUM’S NIGHTMARE THEATER” will give everyone in the valley the chance to experience where “THE GALLOWS” was filmed and be scared out of their minds.
Tremendum’s Nightmare Theater is at the Fresno Veterans Memorial Auditorium (widely considered the most haunted place in the city), located at 2425 Fresno St. conveniently located in downtown Fresno, right across from the Old Fresno Water Tower.
Tremendum’s Nightmare Theater will be open from October 13-31st (Closed Mondays). The nightmares begin at 7pm each night. This brand new haunted attraction located at the VMA downtown will have participants experience memorable spine-tingling scenes from “The Gallows” live! Tremendum Pictures filmed “The Gallows” at the VMA and now brings the most haunted attraction in Fresno; With over ¼ mile of dark sinister hallways, passageways, rooms, twists, turns, 177 stairway steps (no elevators) and 18 separate landings/levels. “Nightmare Theater” is the most malevolent place to spend this Halloween Season.
“The Gallows” was released this past summer by Newline Cinema and Warner Brothers. “The Gallows” was written, directed and produced by local filmmakers Chris Lofing and Travis Cluff on a $100,000 budget and has grossed over $43 million at the worldwide box office. The first week the directors will be onsite signing “The Gallows” Blu-ray’s and DVDs for ticket holders (Blu-ray’s and DVD’s will not be sold at the haunted attraction). Actors from the film will make appearances during “Nightmare Theater” and signing Blu-ray’s and DVD’s for ticket holders as well.
The Fresno Grizzlies are also involved and bringing back the infamous “Frankenslice” to be served at “Nightmare Theater.” Experience all what you’ve heard about Fresno’s haunted theater in real life, be prepared for a haunting, chilling, and thrilling night at Tremendum’s “Nightmare Theater”.
