Tri-Tip Throwdown
The 2017 Tri-Tip Throwdown at Chukchansi Park will feature at least 20 of the Valley’s top amateur and professional tri-tip makers inside the ballpark during the Grizzlies’ double-header with the Reno Aces. A $10 donation to the Grizzlies Community Fund will allow you into the Tulare Street Plaza where you can sample competitors’ tri-tip. First game starting at 5:05 p.m. [Details]

CSU Summer Arts Student Showcases
11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at various locations around Fresno State. The Student Showcases feature the hard work of students after two weeks of intensive instruction and mentoring. All Student Showcases are free. [Details]
Yoga in the Park
9 a.m. at Cultural Arts District Park. Open to the public, donation-based/free, and the first 15 attendees will have your yoga mat provided. Beginners are welcomed and encouraged. Bring the whole family, kids are invited to participate. [Details]

Winston the Magician
12:30 to 1 p.m. at Storyland. Winston the Magician is fun, hilarious, and amazing from the very first magic trick to the last. Kids and parents will love this show, set in the whimsical Daniel R. Martin Children’s Theater inside Storyland. [Details]
Matusyahu
Sunday from 7:30-10:30 p.m. at the Tower Theatre. Thirteen years after the release of his first studio record, Matisyahu and his band have done something unmatched in his past repertoire; they have crafted that journey into a musically thematic eight song movement. [Details]
2nd Sunday Market Bazaar
11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Full Circle Brewing Co. A day of shopping, entertainment, and craft beer. Vendors offering handcrafted woodworking, glass etching, handcrafted soaps, wreaths, essential oils and more. Food trucks as well as other food items will be available. FAB T-Dance Brunch
From noon to 4 p.m. enjoy Continental brunch at FAB Fresno in the Tower District. DJs

Sawdust Sunday at Fresno Ideaworks
From 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., it’s wood shop day at Fresno Ideaworks in downtown Fresno. If you have an interest in woodworking, lathe work, carving, or any other means of sawdust production, this is a good way to get some pointers on an existing project or gather information on how to get started. This event is open to the public and requires no fees. Some experience is necessary for equipment use. No experience is necessary to explore the possibilities. [Details]
