B3 (Beats, Bikes, and Brews)

Franks Place again welcomes the Central Valley Biking community to join us for an evening of fly beats (brought to you by DJ Leonard), cold brews (brought to you by our friendly bartenders), and your bikes (safely parked inside of our super cool air conditioned historic space). This event is open to all, not just those with bikes.
There is a $1 optional donation at the door to help us raise money for some repairs needed in the Historic Warnors Theatre.
So bring down your bike, hit the pavement with your feet, or catch a ride to enjoy a brew or two with us!

Spinman Concert

National Christian College Fairs
When: September 22nd 6pm to 8pm
Where: Buchanan High School’s West Gym, 1560 N. Minnewawa Ave., Clovis
Students, families and educators interested in combining academics and faith are invited to the region’s National Christian College Fair.
Representatives from more than 25 Christian colleges and universities will gather from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 22. The Fresno fair will take place at Buchanan High School’s West Gym, 1560 N. Minnewawa Ave., Clovis.
In addition to being able to talk to admissions representatives, students and parents will be able to attend a financial aid seminar. To make the process easier, students can register for a barcode ahead of time at myblueprintstory.com. Participants can present the barcode to college and university representatives at the fair, who will scan it for information students have provided, eliminating the need to fill out multiple information cards.

Wags N Wine

We will have yummy food available for purchase by Casa de Tamales (with a percentage of your purchase benefiting Elder Paws Senior Dog Rescue) and live entertainment by The Roger Perry Band, a local legend for 25 years (and great to dance to). In addition to the outdoor venue, Milla Vineyard’s private wine tasting room will be open to adults to sample some of the flavorful wines that Milla has to offer (with a percentage of all wine purchases benefiting Elder Paws). There will be great Elder Paws merchandise for sale, door prizes, and an awesome raffle. Plus we will have some of our sensational seniors ready to party!! Admission is free. Come on out and purchase some great food, beverages, rescue merchandise and raffle tickets, all in support Elder Paws. (No outside food or beverages.) You won’t want to miss the fun event.

Valley Teen Ranch Annual Fashion Show/Luncheon
When: September 26th 11am to 2pm
Where: Golden Palace 2625 W Vassar Avenue, Fresno, CA 93705
Valley Teen Ranch is a non-profit organization that provides Residential Group Homes, Foster Care, and Adoption for delinquent and abused children and youth in the San Joaquin Valley counties. Luncheon is held to gather donations either through live and silent auctions, raffle tickets, quilt tickets, and donations. Purpose of this year’s event is towards expansion and construction of their vocational programs.

Fabulous 50s, Swinging 60s
When: September 19th 5pm to 10pm
Where: 6720 E. Kings Canyon Rd, Fresno
“Back To The Fabulous 50s and Swinging 60s” is a fundraiser for the Charlie Keyan Armenian Community School, featuring a a classic car show with more than 100 cars and trucks; live performances including Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, Frank Sinatra, Johnny Cash and Tom Jones lookalikes; a huge raffle ; and appearances by television stars from the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s.
Scheduled to appear are: Ronnie Schell (Gomer Pyle USMC), Kathy Garver (Family Affair), Karen Pendelton (Mickey Mouse Club), Jeanne Russell (Dennis The Menace), Richard Herd (T.J. Hooker), Paul Peterson (Donna Reed Show), Cubby O’Brien (Mickey Mouse Club), Dawn Wells (Gilligan’s Island), Max Gail (Barney Miller) and Johnny Crawford (Rifleman).
Car show begins at 4 pm. Games/entertainment kicks off at 6 pm. Open to the public. Tickets cost $40 at the door. Children under 12 years old are free. Students 13-20 years are $20.
