1. 5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche
This one-performance-only show is happening tonight at 8 p.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Fresno. Breakfast will be provided (apparently?). Feels like this is one of those things you just show up to without knowing a lot about it ahead of time, and hang on for the ride. [Details]

2. Metalachi Rocks Fresno
The world’s first and only heavy metal mariachi band. What more do you need to know? Tonight at 7 p.m. at Fulton 55 in Downtown Fresno. [Details]
3. Fresno Women’s March
Women, men, and children will gather at River Park from 2-4 p.m. Saturday in support of women and equal rights for anyone who has felt threatened by recent political events. Supporters are encouraged to bring signs of positivity, as opposed to those against any specific political figures. [Details]
4. Intro to Blacksmithing
Look, if things ever take a turn for the worse, having an actual, old-fashioned skill would be handy. This two-day class meets at Fresno Ideaworks in Downtown Fresno and starts Sunday at either 9 a.m. or 1 p.m. (your choice), and continues Jan. 29 (same times). [Details]

5. FAB T-Dance Brunch
Speaking of the end of the world, if it’s going to happen, you may as well dance. Enjoy free brunch and dancing with the purchase of a drink Sunday from noon-4 p.m. at FAB Fresno in the Tower District.
6. Learn About Fulton Street Investors
Those who want to actively participate in the revitalization of Downtown Fresno are encouraged to find out more about this group, which aims to invest in area real estate. The meeting will be held Monday at 7 p.m. at Bitwise Industries. [Details]
7. Pecha Kucha Night Volume 24
Twenty slides, twenty seconds each. That’s how long each presenter has to talk on the topic of Community. Starts at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Fulton 55 in Downtown Fresno. [Details]

8. Garden Cocktails at the Lime Lite
Luke Fisher will bring his Garden Cocktails to the Lime Lite in Fresno Wednesday from 6-10 p.m. Luke’s hand-crafted cocktails make use of the local produce that’s abundant in the Central Valley and, like all good cocktails, feature that sweet, sweet booze. [Details]
9. Cross Cultural Workshop
Expand your awareness and understanding of other cultures by attending a workshop at the Holistic Cultural and Education Wellness Center in Fresno. This month’s presentation is “Prominent Challenges for Latinos in 2017” by Dr. Alfredo Cuellar, and it will take place from 2-4 p.m.
10. Volunteer Orientation at Valley Animal Center
