It’s August! The last official month of summer, we’re in the final days before school starts, and we think YOU deserve to have some fun. I regularly share great local restaurants, shops, pop-ups, and other events with you here on FresYes.com, but this week there are some really special, unique, and cool things to do that have popped onto my radar and I felt they needed their very own post so you didn’t miss them!
PAINT!
Paint All the Feelings: The Reclaim Collective is a local collective of independent licensed therapists who focus on helping clients heal from trauma. If you’ve been through a heavy phase in your life recently and would like an opportunity to channel your feelings in a therapeutic way, or if you’d just like to practice being more present and being connected to how you’re feeling, The Reclaim is hosting a special class called “Paint All the Feelings” this Saturday, August 5th from 9-10:30am in which you’ll be guided through the creation of healing art. The cost of the class, which includes materials is $35. No art experience or expertise is needed. (This event will also repeat on the first Saturday of each month.) To sign up, click here.
