1. Blues & Brews with Javon Davis and John Clifton
Live blues and craft beer is what you need to take the edge off this week. This all-ages event starts at 7 p.m. tonight at Full Circle Brewing Co. in Downtown Fresno. $10 at the door. [Details]
2. Love the Wine You’re With
Hands down the best name for an event ever. Head to Sierra Vista Mall in Clovis from 4-6 p.m. Saturday to enjoy wine tasting, candy, and horse-drawn carriage rides. [Details]
3. New Doubt – Tribute to No Doubt
Get on your best Orange County-flavored ska gear and head to Strummer’s in Fresno at 8 p.m. Saturday for New Doubt, called the “Most Authentic Tribute to No Doubt” on the scene. Set list also includes Sublime, Gwen Stefani hits, Blink182, Green Day and other nostalgic rock jams of the 90s and early 2000s. Tickets are $10. [Details]
4. Yoga & Beer, Pints & Poses
This all-levels vinyasa flow yoga class will take place Sunday from 3-4 p.m. at Tioga-Sequoia Brewing Co. in Downtown Fresno. Beer (or beverage) and snacks are included in the $20 cost. Must be 21 or older. [Details]
5. Lorenz Keyboard Series: French Pianist Lise de la Salle
Award-winning French pianist Lise de la Salle will perform at Fresno State at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Concert Hall as part of the Philip Lorenz Memorial Keyboard Concert Series. De la Salle will perform works by Beethoven, Ligeti and Prokofiev. Tickets are $25 general, $18 for seniors and $5 for students. [Details]
6. Vibe Soul Lounge Featuring Duets by Desirae Monique & Ray Moore
Celebrate Valentine’s Day early with a harmonious blend of soulful sounds brought to you
by DJs PDK, yelo, and an incredible band led by Ray Moore. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door. Doors open 7 p.m. Sunday at Fulton 55 in Downtown Fresno. [Details]
7. Love & Ice Cream
Tuesday from noon-11 p.m. treat yourself by helping others at Ampersand Ice Cream in Fresno. 100% of net proceeds will go to helping the Able Advocates Equipment Closet program. Quesadilla Gorilla will be available for food from 6-9 p.m. [Details]
8. Downtown Classic Movies: Roman Holiday
What’s better than seeing Audrey Hepburn in her first major role? How about seeing Audrey Hepburn in her first major role for free? Show up at Bitwise South Stadium Wednesday at 7 p.m. and you can do just that. [Details]
9. TB&J: Tacos, Brews & Jams
Tacos, Brews & Jams is back Thursday with tacos from Tacos El Compadre, live music from Santa Mira, corn, churros and funnel cakes from Sanchez Corn, Dear Danger and Believe mobile boutiques and, of course, Tioga-Sequoia beer. All ages welcome, 5-10 p.m. at Tioga-Sequoia Brewing Co. [Details]
10. Nate’s Silent Movies at Full Circle Brewing Co.
It’s time for your monthly dose of silent movies, music, and beer at Full Circle Brewing Co. in Downtown Fresno. This month, Nate Butler will present shorts “Un Chien Andalou” and “The Mystery of the Leaping Fish.” Starts at 7:15 p.m.; pay what you want.
