We just crowned the latest and final winners of the FresYes Pet of the Week! in our Last Chance Qualifier!
Congratulations to Mia and Benji!
We now have a full dozen fluffs to adorn our very first FresYes Pet Calendar!
We’d like to thank each and every contestant and honestly they are ALL winners in our eyes. But there’s only 12 months in a year, and 12 calendar pages to fill. We asked you to decide which ones to go with, and you did!
Meet Our Winners
Roxie loves to dress up and visit family. She’s very spoiled and loves playtime. She is full of energy and is very loving by giving kisses and bringing you her toys. She is almost 3 years old and can’t wait for her fur friends to come to her birthday party.
This is Vivie she’s the most loving dog ever! She also a brat and a princess baby. She has to be in the mood for bows. She’ll take them off eventually.
This is Ella, my schnauzer, living her best life. She’s very smart and very bossy. Ella loves to travel and can be seen driving around town or on the central coast in her convertible. Yes, she thinks it’s her convertible.
My name is Pixie, I love long walks to the park, playing fetch, and a good cuddle session. My human thinks I’m the cutest pup out there, what do you think?
Grommit is a 10 year old schipperke. He enjoys barking at people that ring the doorbell and chewing on leftovers rib bones. He’s an old guy so he gets a little wheezy when going for walks but enjoys them none the less. Though he may look dark and menacing he’s quite the teddy bear.
This is Nash. He’s 6 years old. He loves his toys and unfortunately barks at everyone. We can never keep his mustache clean because he loves to stick his nose at the bottom of the fence to talk to his friend next door. He loves to eat and loves his humans. He is a maltipoo that was only supposed to get to 12 pounds but he weighs 24!
Milo Oreo was adopted from Miss Winkles almost 5 years ago. He has the looks and energy of a puppy but he’s estimated to be 12 years old. He has the cutest short, stubby legs and overbite. Milo’s favorite activity is being cuddled by mama and prefers the company of humans.
This is my kitten wearing a chef hat! His name is Chevy, named after my car, where we found him under the hood crying for help. He was in horrible condition back then, but now our sweet boy is spoiled rotten. He’s about 5-6 months old, and is losing his baby teeth (which you can see in the photo, with his gummy smile!)
Our little love Poppy has in interesting story. She was once a bulldog on a meat factory farm in China and was saved from destruction. Her first time touching grass or being outside a crate was when she was rescued in 2019. She was rehabilitated by two lovely organizations who nursed her to health and provided necessary surgeries to correct her vision.
Kawaii is our toothless, geriatric baby girl. We’re guessing she’s at least 14 years old. She followed my father in law to his car at his work’s parking lot and we hunted for her owner for months. When no one claimed her, we decided to keep her. She gallops up and down the hallway and gives us kisses even in her old age.
Mia Green, loves to get her summer cut as the groomer dresses her up for the occasion. Here she is all ready for the 4th of July. Mia is a rescue dog and she is 8 years old. She loves taking car rides, body boarding in the pool and she loves to bit at water. I squirt her with a squirt gun and she tries to bit at the water. She has been the best dog. She gets along well with Oz my 16 year old cat.
Benji is a smart, funny dog, will do anything for treats and has made hundreds of people laugh on his TikTok page @BenjiTheTerrier. Some of his videos have reach to almost 1,000 views! He knows the name to all his (many) toys, and is very playful. Benji is turning 13 years old in December 2022, I have had him since he was 3 months old.
We’re in the process of contacting all the winners and sending the calendar off to the printers. We’ll let you know as soon as it’s available.
Remember, all proceeds of this calendar will go to the winner’s choice of non profits. We’ll also list the non profits so you’ll know too.
