It’s that time of year again. A time when we all hop in our horse-drawn carriages (cars) and go bouncing off over hills (the Grapevine, perhaps?) and through snow (fog) to get home for the holidays. But in these modern times, the journey home to see family is a lot less like a Bing Crosby Christmas song and more like any of Eminem’s albums, ever.
I’m sure most of us think we already know all the tips and tricks to holiday driving (so well so that we ignore them), but it doesn’t hurt to have a reminder from time to time. Even if the reminder is as simple as: slow down! Officer Johnny Fisher with the California Highway Patrol breaks down the dangers on the road this time of year and what we can do to keep ourselves (and others) safe.
Because we all want to be home for Christmas (Chanukah, Kwanza, the college bowl games?), let’s make sure we get there safely.
