Guest Post from Bianca Echeveste
I actually live in Firebaugh, but since no one knows where that is, I claim Fresno. I hope that counts; maybe like an honorary Fresnian or something. The fact that my favorite people in the world live there like my Mother, 3 sisters, my daughter and grandson means that I spend more time there than I do at home. We decided to purchase a condo there when our 3rd child decided she wanted to attend San Joaquin Memorial High School. So we’ve got 1 foot there and 1 foot in Firebaugh.
I actually grew up in the Bay Area, North Richmond to be more specific. Finding themselves priced out of the real estate market in the Bay my parent’s search for affordable housing led them to the sleepy town of Firebaugh where we moved to in 1989, when their dreams of becoming homeowners finally became a reality.
My favorite hidden jewel are the people of Fresno. They are so warm and welcoming that it really conveys a small town atmosphere while still having all the comforts and conveniences of a BIG city. Most of my business is conducted in Fresno and I’ve met the most wonderful clients that I now consider my friends and family.
Thanks Bianca! We’re ok with you living in Firebaugh just as long as you have the FresYes attitude and way of life! Thanks for sharing!
