Let’s talk about Bad MLS photos. On my desktop I have a folder full of bad or funny photos taken by real estate agents over the years and it’s time to bust them out. This one gets the award for least appetizing. Seriously I don’t know when it would ever be a good idea for a real estate agent to post this picture on a public facing site but then again who doesn’t like lime flavored jell-o?!

As a Realtor, I know that great pictures are an essential marketing tool to selling a home. They absolutely can make the difference in whether or not someone wants to see my clients home in person or not. So it pains me when I see a poor picture of a home on the Fresno Multiple Listing Service (MLS). I am not a photographer and I know it. I hire a professional photographer for all of my residential listings. His photos are beautiful, just take a look at some of them here.
Here a few from my stock pile for your enjoyment, more to come in a future post with some basic rules of ‘thumb’ that every agent or home owner selling without an agent should know.
