Let’s be clear. I don’t consider myself Oprah by any means! But I’m known for having an addiction to giving gifts. If I’m not done Christmas shopping (or at least really close by the end of Black Friday, something is seriously wrong).
However, I’ve come to understand that not everyone shares my disease. So I’m here to try and help with some last-minute gift ideas.
Something Pretty from Ooh La La
Tip Number One: Go to Ooh La La on Willow and Nees to avoid all the crowds. It’s a great, locally-owned boutique, and you can read about why I love it here. Now, I try to avoid buying someone clothing, shoes or purses unless I’m very sure I know what they like. I feel like it can create an awkward situation where they may be forced to wear something they hate in the name of politeness. But maybe you’re getting a present for someone you know super well. And otherwise, there is a great selection of jewelry and other accessories (generally a much safe gift choice).

A Stun Gun from Cowgirl Clutter
I have had an unbelievable number of women tell me they want one of these babies since I first bought one and wrote about it a few months ago. This is a great, unconventional present for your wife, best friend or mother! While you’re at the store, check out all the other adorable things Cowgirl Clutter has to offer!

Fresno Grizzlies Tickets
No shocker that this is on my list, right? Haha. Obviously, I love the Grizzlies, and they are offering some great Christmas gift options. Not only do season-ticket mini plans start at only $108, but you can also buy a couple of great stocking-stuffer deals: two tickets to any home game and a Grizzlies t-shirt for $25 or four Grizzlies tickets, two movie tickets and one of those infamous shirts from Ninja Turtles night for only $49.
Local Restaurant Gift Cards
Eat Local isn’t usually my wheelhouse, but I am definitely a foodie. You can pick the favorite restaurant of the person you’re giving the gift card to, of course, but if you don’t know, I suggest getting a card for the Fansler Restaurant Group, which owns Pismo’s, Westwood’s BBQ & Spice and Yosemite Ranch. That way, there are plenty of choices! Another favorite of mine is The Mad Duck, which is currently offering an extra $10 gift card for you to use on yourself when you buy a $50 gift card for someone else!

Something Quirky from Kwirkworld
This unfortunately will require you to head to Riverpark, but really, it’s worth it! (Just go really early in the morning, haha). I was just in Kwirkworld the other day, and it’s my favorite place for fun gifts and white elephant exchanges. My personal favorite right now is this Fresno shirt:

Gift Certificate for Massage or Pedicure
This is a no-brainer but one that will pretty much always be appreciated. If you don’t have a go-to place for beauty services, you can get recommendations from me and ladies I trust here and here.
So these are a few of my favorite things when it comes to local, last-minute holiday presents. What are some of yours? Share with us in the comments!
