Where does the time go? Sometimes it’s like we’re hurtling through the calendar like it’s on fire, with time slipping through our fingers quicker than a bar of soap in a hot bath. But hold on, kids! Before we go spiraling into the chaos of the holiday season, let’s take a collective breather and remind ourselves to hit that imaginary ‘pause’ button.

October isn’t just about pumpkin spice lattes and cozy sweaters—it’s a gentle nudge from Mother Nature to slow down, wrap ourselves in a crunchy pile of fallen leaves, and savor the simpler things in life, like trying to find the one leaf that doesn’t look like a basic maple shape.
There’s a plethora of great things to do this weekend. Saturday’s list in “Other Great Things To Do” might be a record setter.

The Clovis Haunted Trail

We wrote about the Clovis Haunted Trail last year. Oh, and the year before too! It’s a very cool event. Ther Clovis Haunted Trail is a scary haunted, outdoor, walking experience designed to thrill those who love Halloween and all scary things.

You can expect to hear eerie music, foggy trees, and spooky lighting. Live zombies, creepy clowns, coffins, and skeletons climbing about. Headstones, pumpkins, hay bales, witches, and creepy dolls. Now is the time to walk with the dead or nearly dead!
