MEET HEATH!
Meet Heath, a work in progress who is looking for a patient and loving forever home. Heath is a handsome boy who came into Fresno Humane sometime before December 2020. After being transferred to rescue to have his bad eye removed, Heath started to exhibit reactivity issues. Our amazing behavior staff went to work and have made great progress with him.
Heath needs someone willing to continue his learning and keep up with what he already knows. He already knows some basic commands like sit, down, and leave it, and he is a pro at walking on a gentle leader. With consistent training, he has the potential to learn even more.
Heath is a ball of energy and loves playing and spending time outside. He greets staff with hugs and kisses every morning and enjoys being around people. While he may have some less appealing qualities, once he gets to know you, he is as lovable as can be.
Heath’s play style in group settings tends to be rough and rowdy, but he fits in just fine with the right group of dogs. With the right handler and continued training, we are confident that Heath can live a long, happy, and healthy love-filled life.
