The FresYes Pet Calendar 2024 Contest is on!

In case you don’t remember, late in 2022 we decided to publish a pet calendar. We asked for your best pet pictures, then allowed you to vote on them and we then took all the winners and published a full size calendar for your wall.

We’re doing it again for 2023! Here’s everything you need to know.

Once a week we want to share your pet and feature it as
“The FresYes Pet of the Week“!

Naturally we’re going to have to set some guidelines.

• It has to be your pet. While we want to see every cutie out there, it might upset the owners seeing a picture of their pet that you took at the coffee shop the other day.
• No humans please. While that image of you getting a kiss from your pup is cool and all, we want this to be all about the pets. If there’s an incidental human in the background we may be able to crop them out.
• It has to be an animal. No vegetables, no minerals. While you might adore that super burrito you’ve been hugging and we’re trying to be super inclusive and non judgemental, we have to set boundaries, ok?

Can it be a funny picture? Sure! Some of the winners last year certainly were.

Can I dress him up in a costume? If that’s something you really want to do and your pet is really ok with it, sure.

Does it have to be a kitten or puppy? Not at all, if you feed it and love it, it’s a pet! Last year we had a few snakes, lizards, birds and even a rescued Opossum!

PROTIP: The website uses landscape formatted pictures so if you submit a portrait style or square, we’re going to crop it to landscape so make sure your image has enough room. (that kitten picture above is a great example of a landscape format). If you are confused click here.

What do I win? What does Skippy win? What about the cash? Good question. We would hope that sharing would be enough and also just think of how proud you’ll be at the groomers next time bragging how, “Frisky was just featured as FresYes Pet of the Week“. We plan on selling the calendars and donating all the proceeds to local animal charities (that the winners pick).
