Spring cleaning is like hitting the reset button for your home in Fresno / Clovis. It’s that one time of year where you get to scrub away the winter blues and say goodbye to the layers of dust that have been accumulating since last spring. It’s like a breath of fresh air, except for your house.

Let’s face it, we all have that one closet that we’re scared to open because we’re not sure what might come tumbling out. Maybe for you it’s a whole room. Heck, it might be the whole house! Oh and then what about the yard? The front yard, the back yard, the side yard, that ‘other’ side yard! Oh my!

Spring cleaning gives us the perfect opportunity to conquer those fears and tackle the mess head-on. Who knows, you might even discover some hidden treasures in the process!

The City of Fresno offers a program called “Operation Clean Up” to assist residential customers in disposing of bulky items. Once a year, residents are permitted to place items that are too large for regular trash collection at the curb. It’s important to note that this program only collects trash generated by the residence being serviced, and not from any other property. Additionally, only residences that currently pay for solid waste service on their utility bill are eligible for this service.

So go ahead, put on your gloves, grab your cleaning supplies, and get ready to make your home in Fresno or Clovis sparkle like new. Just don’t forget to take a break and reward yourself with a well-deserved snack break in between. After all, cleaning is hard work!
