We paused the Pet of the Week contest while we rewrote the rules. We found out that there were some people out there who really, really, really wanted their pet to win. Really!
So, now we have new rules. Simply, it should be one person, from one device, voting once. That’s fair, right? Good!
You might recognize a quartet from last week, they didn’t win so they are trying again. We’re ok with that too.
Meet Our Contestants

Pongo, Lilo, Snowy, Casper It started with 1, went to 2, then with twins we ended with 4. We have had them all since they were each 7 weeks old. They are a handful to say the least and don’t always get a long with each other like typical brother’s and sister’s. They love to sunbath, rolling/scooting in the grass, playing with toys, watching TV or listening to music and getting their belly’s rubbed and know what they means. They love taking their parents for a walk so much they get over joyed when they see a leash. They love to snuggle, giving their parent’s licking (kissing) baths and never think they are too big to be lap dog’s. They love to talk and bark at anything and everything. Besides knowing the word treats and dental’s they know the sound of a whip cream can and ice maker. They love car rides, running in the snow, and the beach. The smallest and oldest is Pongo (tri color) who is the king of guarding the backyard and playing fetch, also a food snob at age 8. Lilo (brindle color) is 7 and has the most attitude, who loves to play tugawar. The white golden twins are Snowy and Casper at age 6 who are inseparable together as escape artists. Snowy loves to carry around her stuff animal everywhere and Casper loves to get in to the trash and smell everyone’s bums.

Jayden Jefferson William, what can I say…He is 2 years old and the most joyful-hilarious little kids. When the tough times come my way, he makes it all go away. Jayden is a very attentive-fun loving brother to his two special needs siblings. He gives them more the reason to continue to live each moment with a brother that wets their faces with kisses and entertainment. He is a pure joy to our family.

Cappuccino, Milo, Kawaii and Fawn are the sweetest group of senior pets. Kawaii was rescued from the streets of Fresno. She was found with no teeth and has limited vision but this doesn’t stop her from being the sweetest dog ever. She loves exploring the garden and home. Fawn was rescued in Pismo Beach when her mom was abandoned in a parking lot. She is the princess of the house, thumping when she doesn’t get her way. Milo was a blessing we found at Miss Winkles. He has a constant smile on his face with his adorable overbite and loves every human he comes in contact with. Cappuccino was also rescued from the streets of Fresno and is the newest member of our household. Although he can be skittish of other people, he loves other animals and is a ball of happiness and energy for our old folks home.
