So tell us, who are you, where did you come from, and what do you do?
The owner of Muses is Michael Gong, and he is actually a lawyer! He acquired ownership of the spa a few years ago and has found a passion for wellness and a desire to provide the valley with the best services. The idea of the wellness center came about during the pandemic. Michael wanted to provide people with luxury services, while also having the option to have the room to yourself to eliminate the fear of contracting the virus. This idea led to the wellness center we have today, that implements machines geared towards increasing client wellness, as well as small, intimate fitness classes to increase instructor intentionality.
I am the manager of the wellness center, Taylor Musick. Michael promoted me from front desk receptionist at the day spa and entrusted me to build the wellness center with him from the ground up. Michael and I spent several months planning and educating ourselves on the services we provide today and are enthusiastic about finally opening the center this month.
Tell us a little about the business
Wellness by Muses is the new, second location to Muses Day Spa. Muses Day Spa opened in 2005 and has been named the best spa in the valley several years in a row. The spa offers massages, facials, body treatments, nail services, and more! Our new wellness center has expanded the Muses name into fitness classes like Yoga and Pilates, cryotherapy, red light therapy, and even floatation therapy. Our goal is to be a one-stop-shop for all things wellness and bring the most advanced technology to the valley. Your wellness is our priority.
Our team is excited and passionate about providing the best service possible and building relationships with the community. Our fitness classes are “boutique style” with an emphasis on intentionality and providing one-on-one assistance from our instructors. Our services are designed to be convenient and easy for clients to pop in throughout the day and get their much needed “me time.”
Tell us about something that Wellness by Muses does that stands out?
Something that sets us apart from the rest is the way we prioritize client relationships and safety. Making sure our machines are up to date and properly maintained is a top priority here at Wellness by Muses. We want our clients to feel safe stepping into our machines so they can focus on their wellness and relaxation. We are also the only place in town that offers all of these services in one.
Our clients are able to get in a workout and then step into a cryo-chamber or float pod session immediately after. No other location offers that kind of convenience. Visiting Wellness by Muses would be an investment for your health, as well as a great way to save time by getting all your treatments in one.
What is it that most people DON’T know about your business?
Most people don’t know the extent of services we offer. Our Cryotherapy services range from full-body Cryo to Cryo-sculpting. We are the only location in the valley that offers the Cryo-Lean360 device for Cryo-sculpting. We also accept group events and individual fitness training inquiries. Whether it be a local sports team or business looking to get in some team bonding, we offer it here at Wellness by Muses.
Anything exciting and new coming up?
Our most anticipated technology, like the Cryotherapy Arctic Chamber and Floatation Pod, are now available to be scheduled online and over the phone with our wellness staff. Our machines are brand new, and our team is ready to serve the community. We are looking forward to releasing more membership options, as well as private prenatal yoga sessions in the coming months.
