Tomorrow is Mother’s Day. Hopefully you knew that already and have a sweet gift (handmade or store-bought, it’s the thought that counts) waiting for your mom. For some, the holiday is celebrated with little more than a card and an ‘I love you.’ And for most mothers, that’s all they need. Or at least that’s what they say!
Consider this post a card to mothers everywhere. Or that homespun gift full of love but lacking a high price tag (you know, the ones moms love to hang on their refrigerators or proudly show off to company). Let’s keep it simple and let a mom tell her story.
The mom is Amy. She’s a wife, mother to 3-year-old April and is expecting her second child later this year. With the trademark calm of a mother who’s handled many a tantrum, Amy talks about her journey to motherhood, what she’s expecting the second time around and how being a mother has given her a new appreciation of her own mom. All while little miss April tries to take over the interview (in the most adorable way possible).
Check it out and Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms in the Valley and everywhere.
