CNN just dropped a tool that tells you where you should move next.
The digital crystal ball asks you where you currently live and how far you are willing to move. Then, it gives you a questionnaire, and based on your answers, it narrows down the best place for you to live.
Some of the questions it asks are:
- “Compared to where you live now, are you looking for a place that has more or less…”
- You can select multiple preferences or leave some fields blank (Less, Similar, More):
- Population density
- Young people
- Lower median age
- Rainy days
- Hot days (Temps above 90°F)
It also has inputs for racial diversity, abortion access, and LGBTQ rights.

For fun I gave it a try. On my first try It suggested:
Bellingham, Washington
Grand Rapids, Michigan
Towson, Maryland
Parkland, Washington and Welby, Colorado for me. Interesting. On my second attempt, I included some options to be the same as Fresno along with “less or more” and got 44 matches, mostly in the Mid-West or South.
If you do decide to sell and move, please call me, Jason at FresYes, to help you sell your current home. If you want to stay in Fresno or Clovis and want the same type of help finding the right neighborhood, please also reach out to me, Jason at FresYes, and I can help you find your next home.
