As you may know, FresYes Realty | FresYes.com has been a proud sponsor of FresYes Fest for years. We think it’s a great food and music festival for Fresno—something everyone in the city can really be proud of.
Throughout the years, FresYes Fest has grown substantially. Last year’s event brought over 6,000 people to downtown—too many for the event to safely host, so some found themselves turned away at the entrance.
This year, Tioga-Sequoia Brewing Co. and FresYes Fest organizers want to make sure there is plenty of room for all who attend. They are making the event literally bigger and better, today announcing a major expansion for the festival.
As part of the FresYes Fest expansion plan, organizers will shut down the portion of Inyo Street in front of Tioga-Sequoia and Fulton Street north toward Kern Street. They’ll also use the empty lot directly across from Tioga-Sequoia’s beer garden as a new family-friendly FresYes Activity Zone, as well as a space for DJs, dozens of vendors, and food trucks.
The layout now includes almost twice as much space, more entrances, triple the amount of bathrooms, and more beer stations. Check out this map to see the new footprint.
“FresYes Fest has overwhelmingly exceeded our expectations since it started in the parking lot of our Beer Garden in 2013,” says Tioga-Sequoia president Michael Cruz. “To all of our fans who have attended in the years past and have given us feedback or suggestions, we have listened. Tioga-Sequoia looks forward to the growth of FresYes Fest for years to come, as we continue to highlight the best of our city right here in Downtown Fresno.”
In addition to all that extra space, there will be 20+ food trucks, 40+ vendors, and a music line-up that includes the return of Gang’s Back, Sparklejet, reggae band White Glove Service, the blues sounds of Glen Delpit and the Subterraneans, alt-rockers Sharks of Dance, and The BOX.
As always, FresYes Fest is a free, all ages festival. Make sure to follow the event page for updates, or check out FresYes.com for more.
