I’m so excited to finally be able to show you guys something I’ve been working on for awhile!
Fresno Flavor is a new video series that introduces you to (or reminds you about) awesome places in the Fresno area. By “awesome places,” I mean restaurants, coffee shops, businesses—anywhere cool people are producing cool things. The first few videos in the series will focus on food because—come on—who doesn’t love to eat?
I’m kicking off Fresno Flavor with a look at Limón Peruvian Cuisine, which has two locations in north Fresno. I talked with owner and chef Aldo Escribens about what Limón is all about, and he showed me how to make the restaurant’s signature dish, Lomo Saltodo. He also made me a drink that is special to Peru—the Pisco Sour. I’m telling you, a couple of these cocktails and your cares will seem a million miles away!
Check out Fresno Flavor-Limón and tell me you don’t want some Peruvian fusion food right now:
