Roasted Grape Crostini
This week I’m going to send you over to Sierra Nut House to pick up a couple of things to make this spectacular appetizer Blue Cheese Roasted Grape Crostini.
And the best thing (other than how amazingly delicious it tastes of course!) Practically no effort, nearly everything you need you’ll pick up at Sierra Nut House
- Fourme d’Albert Cheese – a creamy cows milk blue cheese available at Sierra Nut House
- Honey – they have a great selection of local honey, grab a jar!
- Raincoat Crisp Crackers – these crackers are made with figs and olives. So crunchy and so much flavor, you’re going to want to keep them on hand.
On the way home, just stop by and pick up a few grapes. Never roasted grapes – or perhaps even you haven’t heard of roasting grapes? Then you definitely need to give it a try! Roasting grapes intensifies their flavor – they caramelize really well because of their high sugar content and it changes the tastes, hard to describe so you’re going to have to trust me on this! High heat, olive oil, salt & pepper – souper simple! 😀
Great with a glass of wine, these little appetizers are rich and savory. This would be perfect for a beautiful Mother’s Day Brunch – so simple, so little effort with such big wow factor!
Not sure which wine or beer would go best with this recipe? No worries – stop by Sierra Nut House next Saturday May 7th 12-3 for The Big Cheese Day, pairing cheeses with wines & beer, offering food demonstrations, they will even show you how to put together a cheese board for a party! This is an event you won’t want to miss! For more information contact them directly at 559.432.4023.
