It’s time for another episode of Fresno Flavor!
In this episode, I celebrate the holiday season with a long-standing food tradition: tamales.
Join me as I visit with Liz Sanchez, owner of Casa de Tamales, which has two locations in Fresno. Liz walks me through how she makes tamales as learned from her grandmother and mother, plus lets me try CDT’s carnitas taco (it was AMAZING).
Check it out:
It’s just not the holidays without tamales, if you ask me. Lucky for us, Casa de Tamales is open all year long, so we can bring a little bit of Christmas into our everyday lives.
