Things may be a bit different this Mother’s Day, however local restaurants and businesses are gearing up to ensure you can still make the important moms in your life feel special this coming Sunday. (Yes, that’s right – Mother’s Day is THIS Sunday, so if the Shelter in Place calendar fog has settled in, make a mental note now that you have just a few days left to put your plans in place!)

I will be breaking down the offerings by category for your convenience. Please note, all restaurant options are offered as take out only, as all dine-in eating remains restricted. Additionally, please place orders as early as you are able as specials and slot for pick ups may fill up/sell out as the week goes on.

Brunch Options

Vino Grille – Offering brunch (and dinner) specials especially for Mother’s Day, that serve 4-6 people. Order online here.

Patio Café – Mom will enjoy their Breakfast in Bed special that includes egg frittatas, tartes, and French toast. Stone Fruit Sangria is also a nice option and available to go. Call 559-243-1074 to order.

Benaddiction – Benaddiction is offering several Mother’s Day take-out specials as well as partnering with Moravia Winery and Flowers and More to make it simple to bring local wine, flowers and brunch to Mom all via one stop. Visit their Facebook page for more info about flowers and wine, and here to place your food order.

Nativ Wine – Nativ Wine is offering a brunch package featuring homemade cinnamon rolls from Rachel Makes It, a bottle of Nativ’s own sparkling wine and freshly squeezed pomegranate or orange juice from Farm Dog Juices and a pound of coffee beans from Hi-Top Fresno. Click here for ordering info.

Lunch/Dinner

Yosemite Ranch – Order a delicious meal for two featuring a 2lb Prime Rib, served with big baked potato, wok seared green beans, ciabatta rolls, and your choice of green, apple bleu, or bistro salad. Orders are due by May 7th, so don’t sleep on this one. Call (559) 434-4403 to order.

Max’s Bistro – Slow roasted Prime Rib and Brown Sugar Glazed Baked Ham are the entrée centerpieces for Max’s family meal specials. Click here to view the full menu. Orders are due by May 7th.

Westwood’s BBQ & Spice Co – Lots of options here from plates for two to meals for a crowd including ribs, salmon and much more. Orders need to be placed by May 7th, so don’t wait. Full details available here.

Who is FresYes?

Fresyes.com was started by me, Jason Farris. Yes, I'm in real estate. I think that real estate is so much more than buying and selling homes. It's all about the lifestyle, it's about community. Here in the Fresno / Clovis area we have such a wonderful sense of community. I wanted a place that best reflects the people, the places and the lifestyle that we call home. Fresyes.com is that place. We have fabulous authors who share what makes this community of ours so special. I also write here, and not always about real estate. You can find all my posts HERE
