The line-up for the annual Grizzly Fest has been announced, and with performers like Snoop Dog, Nas, and Foster the People headlining, the festival is bigger than ever.
It’s not just the acts that have gotten bigger—the festival is now a two-day event, much like Taco Truck Throwdown, which also expanded to two days this year. It seems Fresnans have proven their desire for high-quality annual events that celebrate the best of local culture and talent, and organizers are giving us more of what we want.
Another change to this year’s event is location. Traditionally held at Chukchansi Park in downtown, Grizzly Fest is moving to Woodward Park in north Fresno. While the move may seem strange to some, it’s pretty standard to see music and arts festivals taking place in parks—think Outside Lands in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park, for example.
Despite some big changes, the festival promises to remain a great opportunity to enjoy great music, art, food, and more. Look for more info to come as details are released.
