Last spring, my family and a few friends bowled at AMF Sierra Lanes on Sierra and Blackstone and while we were there, it was clear big changes were coming. Those changes have finally arrived, and AMF Sierra Lanes has just re-opened with a bang as Bowlero Fresno.
Bowlero Fresno, located at 6450 N. Blackstone Ave., features 48 lanes of black light bowling, sleek lane-side loungers, and high-definition video walls.
Offering 50,000 square feet of fun, including an arcade packed with interactive games like World’s Largest Pac-Man, The Walking Dead, Mario Kart, and The Giant Crane as well as old-school table games like billiards and beer pong, Bowlero Fresno is sure to entertain your crew.
The Bowlero bowling alley model pays great attention to design—and the brand’s Fresno location proves no exception. Upon arrival, guests are immediately greeted by custom wall graphics, retro-inspired Sputnik light fixtures, and a 1973 Ford Mustang that’s displayed prominently in front of the main counter. Whether you’re celebrating in Bowlero’s newly revamped bar and lounge or hosting a get-together in one of its private event rooms or kids’ party areas, the venue provides a fun, retro-chic atmosphere. As it says on its website, Bowlero is all about “immersive entertainment.”
Local foodies will enjoy Bowlero Fresno’s new menu of “Oversized Shareables,” including the XXL Pretzel and Bowlero’s signature Behemoth Burger, which is a 5-lb, 14-inch-round party burger that’s been named one of the top burgers in America by USA Today. To sweeten things up, Bowlero offers its Monster Cookie Melt—a warm, jumbo chocolate chip cookie that’s topped with vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce, and whipped cream.
Sports fans will enjoy Bowlero Fresno’s all-new sports bar, which includes huge flat-screen TVs and a layout that encourages guests to mix, mingle and indulge in the venue’s specialty cocktails, like the Mad Mai Tai, Old-School Moscow Mule, or the Dunk Tank—a fishbowl cocktail that’s perfect for sharing with friends.
Bowlero Fresno is open Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays beginning at noon, Tuesdays beginning at 9:30 a.m., and weekends starting at 11 a.m. For lane availability, reservations, or to plan a party or corporate event, call (559) 431-3711.
