Outdoor movie nights are a rite of summer. There’s just something about sitting on a picnic blanket in the twilight while you enjoy a movie in a park.
Starting Friday, June 1, the Clovis Police Department will host a summer movie night series at Dry Creek Park in Clovis. The fun begins at 5:30 p.m. and the event is free and fun for the whole family, so snag some sunblock and grab a lawn chair.
Arrive early for free burgers & popcorn
This Friday’s feature is Disney Pixar’s Inside Out. Families are welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets. If you arrive at 5:30, there’s a good chance you can grab a free burger and popcorn.
Although Dry Creek Park is already one of the most exciting parks, with lots of slides and playground equipment, there are also fun activities planned for this event. Carnival games and informational booths will be on hand. Reptile Ron will be there with cold-blooded creatures basking in the sun. Lolo Hawaiian Shaved Ice will be offering cool treats as well.
Of course, you can also bring your own snacks and non-alchoholic beverages.
Free entertainment, free food, and priceless memories. Summer is so close I can feel it (literally—it was so ridiculously hot earlier this week). Here’s a great way to make the most of those long summer nights with your friends and family.
