Friday
Geek Night: DesignProof will take place at 5 p.m. at Bitwise South Stadium. This event will feature games, beer, and a live design competition.
Enjoy food trucks, beer garden, and music from Glen Delpit and the Subterraneans at Gazebo Gardens Nursery at 6 p.m.
StageWorks Fresno will present The Fantasticks at the Fresno Art Museum at 7:30 p.m. tonight and Sunday.
Native American rapper Frank Waln performs live at Fresno City College at 7:30 p.m.
Heavy metal group Haunt will play a free show at Tower District Records at 7 p.m.
You can see 1994’s Pulp Fiction for $5 on the big screen at Crest Theatre at 8 p.m.
And the 80’s New Wave Dance Party and 80’s Prom happens at 9 p.m. at Fulton 55. This is a 21 and over party.
Saturday
It’s BIG Hat Days in Clovis! The fun starts at 9 a.m.
For seekers, the Pranic Healing Energy Course will happen Saturday and Sunday starting at 9 a.m. at The Brass Unicorn in the Tower District.
Fresno High Flea is collecting non-perishable breakfast foods for Sanctuary Youth Shelter. This starts at 10 a.m.
Fans of comics and collectibles will want to head to Manchester Center Saturday for the Fresno Collector’s Expo starting at 10 a.m. Our friends at The Fresnerd will be there to talk all things nerd with you. The expo continues on Sunday at 11 a.m.
CRŪ Winery celebrates 15 years making amazing wine in Madera. There will be food trucks, performances from Aerial Arts Dancers, the Lucky Devils Band, and of course wine tasting. The fun starts at noon.
Also starting at noon is Pow Wow 2018, hosted by Fresno City College American Indian Studies Program in collaboration with North Fork Rancheria Indian Child Welfare Program.
Cloudship will perform at Goldstein’s Mortuary and Delicatessen at 9 p.m.
Sunday
Good Company Players will perform Mamma Mia at 1 p.m. at Roger Rocka’s. This show is going on until May 20.
Enjoy a fun afternoon of tournament-style corn hole at Tioga-Sequoia Brewing Co. at 1 p.m.
Spend the afternoon learning how to cook with and care for herbs at the Culinary Herb Soirée at Gazebo Gardens at 2 p.m.
And a meeting for those wishing to volunteer at Fresno’s first DragCon will take place at 6 p.m. at Bitwise.
