I love where I live, and I also love what I do. I'm lucky to be able to work in a profession in which I get to build relationships; one that has me meeting new people each and every day and helping them to build new lives in my beloved city. I'm lucky enough to work in a profession in which I can marry cutting-edge technologies and marketing techniques to good, old-fashioned, nose-to-the-grindstone work. I am lucky enough to work in a profession that allows me to work as an advocate for my clients; to use every tool at my disposal to get a job done well for them, and with as little stress and expense as possible.
I love my city. I love my job. One inspires my excellence for the other.

Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar has opened! Geez that’s a mouthful… which of course seems appropriate for a wing joint!
I’m all about supporting locally owned establishments and I know this isn’t one but it is employing a whole bunch of locals and that’s a great thing in my book, so along with a group of friends we went and gave it a try.
It looks like your typical sports bar but with some nice upgrades. For one, lots of giant screen TV’s, they also have digital trivia and poker on some of them that you can play via your iPhone (so much nicer than having to wait for a console… remember Bennigans had them while they were still in business?). Also of note in the ‘upgrade’ department… kids are given what looks like a giant iPad that they can play games on, which I thought was very cool till I noticed the 7 year old behind me playing digital beer pong?! I guess you can’t start them too early right!
You don’t have to be in to chicken wings to enjoy a meal here, there is a whole menu of sports bar type foods for you to choose from. We actually had some of the pulled pork nachos, they were good, not ‘Neighbors’ good but definitely worth having again.
Ok so what about the wings? Tasty! Really tasty actually. Our group tried all 15 sauces and 4 different rubs and not one of us had the same favorite, that’s another plus in my book. My favorite sauce was the ‘wild’, the second hottest sauce they offer. The hottest, called ‘Blazin’ has great flavor but way too hot for me to have more than a couple. Speaking of Blazin, they have a contest in which, if you can eat 12 wings with the blazin’ sauce, and devour them to the bone in six minutes without any water or napkins at your side you get a free t-shirt and your picture on the wall. No one in our group did the challenge but we each had one, or in Niko’s case 3! Check out the video for taste!
I suppose I shouldn’t send you on a SCVNGR hunt… Buffalo Wild Wings is located on Shaw Ave just east of Chestnut (across from the Save Mart center).
