What I love about real estate: I feel that real estate is a field where it is possible to be considered an expert, but still continue to learn and grow regardless of how long you have been in the business. An agent can be a generalist and learn all types of transactions, or choose one area of specialty to focus on. The market is ever changing. Our geographic area is constantly growing and changing. The needs of buyers and sellers are not the same from one transaction to the next. I love the constant challenge, it keeps me on my toes!
Favorite house sold: That’s a tough one, but I’d have to say my favorite was my very first listing. I met the clients at an open house that I hosted as a new agent. They wanted to buy the house I was showing, and list their current home. It was a nice home in NE Fresno, and even had a fireplace in the master bedroom (talk about “wow” factor!) When I put their house on the market and hosted an open house two days later, it sold to the first visitor in the door—full price, cash offer, 30 day escrow. The icing on the cake was that the buyer was purchasing as an investment, and I was able to place another one of my clients into the home as a tenant. Big win across the board!
What FresYes means to me: FresYes means changing the lackluster narrative that has been following our community for too long. Taking away the “no” and focusing on the “yes” means being proud of who we are, where we live, and what we bring to the table. I’m a big fan of this positive movement that our broker (Jason) has created, and am proud to be part of the team!
Favorite Fresno landmark: Chukchansi Park, home of the Fresno Grizzlies. Take me out to the ball game!
Favorite place to get a drink in the Fresno area: My newest fave is Riley’s Brew Pub in Clovis. They brew and serve the most amazing hard root beer and cream sodas.
Favorite thing to do on the weekend: Take a day trip! One great thing about Fresno(yes) is our close proximity to so many wonderful destinations. At least once a month, I try to get away to the lake, beach, or bay area.
Favorite non-Fresno destination: I lived in the bay area for 6 years, and love to visit whenever I can.
Cake or pie: My husband makes an excellent cheesecake—best of both worlds.
