St. Patrick’s Day is tomorrow. Many bars in town are doing drink specials, of course, but if you’re looking for something a bit more involved than green beer, try one of the events below.
1. St. Patty’s Craftapalooza
What is it: Craft vendors, food, live entertainment. All ages event.
When: 5-9 p.m.
Where: Full Circle Brewing Co., 620 F Street
2. New Rock Ditch Day
What is it: Skippy with the Morning After, comedian Danny Minch, and the New Rock street team will serve up corned beef hash breakfast burritos (and beer too). The Afternoon Buzz with NewRock Hammer will take over at 3 p.m. to serve up corned beef and cabbage tacos (and more beer).
When: 6 a.m.-7 p.m.
Where: Goldstein’s Mortuary & Delicatessen, 1279 N. Wishon Ave.
3. St. Patty’s Ride
What is it: Slow paced, family-friendly bike ride from Fig Garden to Campus Pointe.
When: 7 p.m.
Where: Starts at Fig Garden Village, 790 W. Shaw Ave.
4. St. Patrick’s Day at Tactical Ops Brewing
What is it: Live music with Gary Ore, Irish food, and more. Kids are welcome.
When: 4-9 p.m.
Where: Tactical OPS Brewing, 2985 N. Burl #102
5. Super Green St. Patty’s!
What is it: Midnight show. $5 cover, free if in drag.
When: 9 p.m.-2 a.m.
Where: FAB Fresno, 716 E. Olive Ave.
6. St. Patrick’s Day at Press Box
What is it: Featured drinks, corned beef and cabbage dinners, live Irish band Rivendell.
When: 11 a.m to midnight
Where: Press Box Sports Grill, 1552 E. Champlain Dr.
7. St. Patrick’s Day At Irish O’Sullivan’s
What is it: Corned beef and cabbage all day, outside beer garden, green beer, beer pong, corn hole, music.
When: 10 a.m. to 2 a.m.
Where: O’Sullivan’s, 5689 E. Kings Canyon Rd.
8. A St. Patrick’s Day Celebration
What is it: Celebrate St Patrick’s Day singing and listening to celebrated Irish songs with Fresno City College Opera Workshop and special guest Russell Noland and Caleb Sandersier. $10 general, $6 students and seniors.
When: 7:30-9 p.m.
Where: Fresno City College, Music Recital Hall MS 132
