The Board of Directors of the Central California Women’s Conference (CCWC) is seeking local community benefit organizations serving women and children to apply for a share of $100,000 in available grant money. The recipients will be recognized at CCWC’s Community Celebration Grant Reception on Wednesday, April 11.
According to a release from the organization, all grant requests must be submitted online. The criteria for grant submissions and application can be found at http://www.ccwc-fresno.org/grantapp/. All grant applications must be submitted by noon on Monday, Feb. 12. Awards will be made only to Central Valley non-profits serving women and children who have served the community for at least three years.
When this year’s grant awards are included, CCWC will have donated more than $1,000,000 to Valley non-profits serving women and children. Funding has benefited recipients by providing an array of services ranging from mammograms to food, shelter, clothing, education, and more.
Now in its 31st year, more than 90,400 women have attended the Central California Women’s Conference. This year’s event will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2018 at the Fresno Convention and Entertainment Center.
